Welcome!

Blogs are a funny thing. They are like reading a magazine on line. I am amazed at how some bloggers are always able to update their blog on a regular basis. I will never be one of ‘THEM‘. I am just a mom nearing 40 trying to keep up with the demands of being pregnant, making sure my toddlers don’t put teething gel all over their faces or eat on the carpet, thankful the baby still naps, homeschooling my oldest girls, keeping my cool, and looking forward to bed time when the house is quiet!  Writing can be so therapeutic when I can find time for it. I find that I am saving countless dollars on a shrink!  But I will not be that blogger that post everyday because often inspiration has puttered out by the end of the day….for GOOD reason! I love my life though and I would not trade it for anything in the world! God writes the best scripts for each of us!

Feel free to leave a comment and thank you for visiting!

Hi! Stopping by from Amy’s humble musings, saw we are both in So. Ca, and I liked your blog title! We homeschool, also.

much grace and peace to you,

your blogs are very therapuetic Steph. I cannot help but laugh and cry at your stories. I cannot figure out why the word therapuetic is underlined right now cause it’s spelled the same as yours! Is your spell check correct? Or is mine incorrect? lol love ya girlfriend and keep blogging to keep away from the shrink and to keep me from the shrink! :) )

Hi! I would just love the chance to talk with you … my husband and I began adopting from Et in February and then he was transferred across country so we had to put things on hold for a month or so. We are really hoping to learn more about adopting from Drawn from Water now that we are settled again. We are deeply drawn to their ministry and we are on our knees at the hope in the children and the Christ-like goodness that the Benkert’s bring to this world.

We’ve emailed Levi and Jessie and I am calling their preferred home study agency today … would you email me and talk more with me about the adoption agency you used and how you became blessed to be a forever part of that orphanage?

P.S. We also home school our three children and our curricula choices and philosophies are so similar … I love to talk home school too!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

    Warmly, Erin
